Grace and peace in Jesus,
I apologise unreservedly to the members of the Marton Parish for a paragraph written in my last LCNZ Update that seemed to indicate that the call process had commenced and they were seeking to call a two-thirds salaried pastor. I wrote the paragraph from my notes taken at a special parish meeting, and confused a few points. Pastor Peter Ziersch has only recently returned to Australia, and we have been seeking an interim pastor for Marton. Therefore, the call process for Marton is something of the future.
Please pray for our LCNZ and its pastors. We have a pastoral vacancy rate of 50%.
