Lutheran Church of New Zealand National Office – Wellington

The National Office for the Lutheran Church of New Zealand is soon to be located in Wellington. A permanent position is available for an enthusiastic person interested in Christian ministry. The position is part-time supporting the President and national church operations with general secretarial, minute taking, banking and accounting duties. A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher and MYOB and previous experience working with accounts are required.

The appointee must be able to work unsupervised. Hours of work 9.30am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday inclusive. In addition, attendance at meetings on a quarterly basis, which involves a Friday evening (7.00pm to 9.30pm) and two Saturdays (9.00am to 4.30pm), is required. Some of these meetings will be held at congregations of the Lutheran Church of NZ outside of Wellington and will therefore necessitate overnight stay in those locations.
